The inside facilities at the Wine Route Inn supply the ideal atmosphere and ambience to have such a time. On the other hand you could just as well have a very private and romantic time to celebrate a wedding anniversary or spend a honeymoon.
The inside facilities include two TV-lounges both equipped with good sound system and audio visual equipment. There are a wood burning fireplace and pizza oven. This enables your hosts to supply real Italian pizzas or true South African dishes from the open fire or the well equipped open plan kitchen while guests join in on the activities and the creation of these dishes. These occasions always turn out to be a festive celebration of good wine and food during the cold and wet Western Cape winters.
The 8-seater dining room table, hand crafted from a 300 year old oak tree that used to grow where the Newlands Cricket Grounds are today, together with the rest of the furniture with as unique a history, forms a central part of such gatherings.
